Brendan Ripp

Brendan has more than 20 years of experience in digital content production, distribution and revenue generation. Prior to joining Pushly, Brendan attained success as EVP, Disney Advertising Sales overseeing the National Geographic portfolio across all channels, linear, digital, social, OTT, publishing, branded content and led Global Consumer Products and Licensing. During his tenure National Geographic received Media Company of the Year honors as well as winning the Cannes Gold Lion for the Branded Content documentary, “Breaking 2” in collaboration with Nike as well as the award winning series, “Activate” in partnership with P&G and Global Citizen. Brendan also oversaw revenue generation for National Geographic’s social channels which has the largest audience of any brand in the world. Prior to Disney, Brendan spent 16 years at Time Inc in various leadership roles at brands leaving as President of the Technology, Finance and Finance Verticals. He is a board member of several media and charity organizations, including the American Advertising Federation, Concern Worldwide and is a voting member of the and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Brendan also served as the North American representative on the Global Board of the International Advertising Association from 2017-2019. He was named to the Adweek “Young Influentials under 40” list in 2016.

A multiple time founder and media executive, Joe is Pushly’s new Chairman of the board and also serves as Chairman of Human Ventures and Attention Capital. Previously, as the President of Advertising Revenue for Fox Networks Group, Joe oversaw advertising revenue for FOX Broadcast, FX, National Geographic and FOX Sports, which included tentpole advertising events such as the World Series and Super Bowl. Prior to Fox, Joe served as CEO of true[X], a leader in advertising technologies, which was acquired by Fox in 2015. Joe is a widely recognized leader in the media and technology industries and was inducted into the Advertising Hall of Achievement in 2016. He has served as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Paley Center for Media and is currently a member of the Board of Directors for Human Ventures, the Tribeca Film Festival, Team Rubicon, Cox Media Group and Clear Channel Outdoor. He graduated from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance.

A proven technology leader specializing in software architecture, project management, communication, and in-depth knowledge of social advertising ecosystems, CJ previously served as Chief Technology Officer at AdParlor, where he oversaw the complete rebuild of legacy internal ads platform into a SaaS Advertising platform supporting social publishers, acted as primary point of contact for publisher partner relationships, and participated in the acquisition of Komli media and creation of AdParlor Asia. Prior to joining Pushly and his tenure at AdParlor, CJ served in multiple leadership roles at Adknowledge, including Director of Technology, Publisher Platform and Director of Engineering, Affiliate. He graduated from Missouri State University in 2007 and currently resides in Kansas City.

Ben oversees Pushly’s Publisher Relations through many stages of evolution and growth, securing key strategic partnerships, spearheading major revenue opportunities, and bringing deep knowledge of online business models around monetization and e-Commerce. Prior to joining Pushly, Ben served as VP of Global Business Development and Sales Operations at Connexity and as digital marketing consultant for top platforms with a history of growing revenue through strategic partnerships and technical industry knowledge. He graduated with a degree in Sociology from the University of California Irvine, where he earned All Conference Honors on the basketball team and went on to play professionally in Germany.

Danee Greenwald has over 10 years of HR and recruiting experience and joined the Pushly team in 2018. Her areas of expertise include full-cycle recruiting, organizational development, change management, employee coaching, employee relations, leadership development, and HR strategy. She received her Professional in Human Resources designation in 2018 and continued her professional development by obtaining the Change Management for HR certification in 2019. Danee resides in Kansas City with her husband David and twin boys Jack and Teddy.

When she’s not pulling data or implementing new partners, Anna’s most likely watching the Kansas City Chiefs or playing with her Golden Retriever, Nala. Anna graduated from Pittsburg State University with a Communications degree with an emphasis in Public Relations. James leads all partnerships and Account Management for Pushly, and has done so since our founding in 2017. As the resident product expert, he specializes in facilitating multi-team collaboration, including the development of new features and functionality in concert with the Pushly engineering team. Prior to joining Pushly, James ran product and implementation for a medical technology company. On his way to graduating from Iowa State University with a History degree focusing on 20th century American antitrust law, James wrote, produced, and hosted a weekly satirical talk show.

Doug is an accomplished team lead and experienced in developing long lasting partnerships with brand and media companies. In his career he has brought a consultative selling approach to solve problems for brands like USA Today Sports, PMC, American Media, ESPN, NBCU, Buick and Under Armour. Prior to his media and digital sales positions, he worked in community development for the Miami Marlins of MLB. Doug received his MS from St. Thomas University in Miami and his BS in Business from Kansas State University. He volunteers as a little league baseball coach and enjoys competing in BBQ events in the Kansas City area.
